Hollywood Wax
A Hollywood wax is a type of intimate waxing that involves the complete removal of hair from the pubic area, including the labia and anus.

Brazilian Wax
A Brazilian wax is a type of intimate waxing that involves the removal of hair from the pubic area leaving only a thin strip or small triangle of hair within the bikini line. It also removes all hair from the labia and anus.

Bikini Wax
A bikini wax is typically less extensive than a Brazilian or Hollywood wax, as it only removes hair from the visible areas outside of the underwear line

G-String Wax

Waxing After care Advice

Please note that some slight soreness, small bumps and redness are very common after waxing and is a temporary reaction, especially if you are waxing for the first time. These symptoms should subside within the next 24-48 hours.

• Avoid using perfumed lotions or cream. To minimise any risk of infection always wash your hands before applying any lotion. Keep the waxed area clean and avoid heat and friction for the next 24- 48 hours.

• Avoid heat treatments such as sunbathing, saunas and steam rooms for 24-48 hours

• Bath with luke warm water and do not use soap on the waxed area.

• Avoid swimming in chlorinated water

• Do not do any vigorous exercise for 24-48 hours.

• Too soothe and protect the skin, apply a soothing gel or antiseptic cream to the waxed area regularly for about 3 days following your treatment. Always wash your hands before applying any product.

• For in-growing hairs, we recommend that you exfoliate (Not within 24 hours of waxing) Exfoliating also helps with any itching in the waxed area.

Frequently Asked Questions about Waxing

Why waxing instead of shaving?
Waxing vs. Shaving. Waxing lasts much longer than shaving, it pulls the hairs from the root – no stubble and your skin is so smooth! It is important to avoid shaving between waxing appointments. Shaving will stimulate the hair growth again. With waxing you will not have cuts and nicks that often come with shaving. Also, with regular waxing your new hair will become finer and grow slower.

What’s the best way to prepare for a waxing appointment?
Be sure you have at least a 1/4 inch of hair growth, 1/2 inch for course hair. That is about a week to 2 weeks of hair growth after shaving. Exfoliating with a loofah or exfoliating gloves the day before waxing is suggested for less pain at the appointment. If it’s your first time please let us know and we will walk you through every step at the appointment.

What should you expect from the waxing appointment?
Hairless skin! Everyone’s skin reacts differently to waxing, typically you can expect to have temporary redness and minor irritation for a day or two. Try to avoid heavy exercise that will increase perspiration and chaffing for about 24-48 hours after waxing.

How often should you get waxed?
Regular waxing is essential. For many that is every 4-6 weeks. The skin will be less sensitive and the hair becomes finer if waxing is done every four weeks.

How long will the results last?
Again, this depends on the person and their genes. But usually waxing lasts from 4 to 8 weeks. Which is much longer than shaving which may only last up to a day.

What is the best way to prevent ingrown hairs between appointments?
Exfoliate alternating with a loofah and exfoliating gloves. If you are more prone to ingrown hairs, also use a topical exfoliant.

Will the hair grow back thicker?
No, actually with regular waxing the hair grows back much slower, finer, and scarcer than before.
